    For a newly established position, William Cook Europe is looking for a CI Lead to lead and design Lean Manufacturing goals and strategy. Your primary focus will be to improve our company’s operating processes and manage all continuous improvement and performance enhancing activities.

     

    As part of the Management Team you will support the transformation process of our business system. You will influence, coach and challenge management in adopting and implementing continuous improvement by delivering high impact projects that support business priorities. You will work cross-functionally to drive and develop projects and initiatives that supports our business with regards to safety, quality, compliance, delivery and cost.

    Responsibilities

    As part of the Management Team your responsibilities are:

     

    • Establishing the right principles, tools, methods and techniques in direct support of achieving business goals, improved performance, and reduce cost
    • Identifying, assessing, facilitating and designing implementation of CI-methods, techniques and procedures across the organization
    • Coordinating, implementing and reporting local CI-initiatives aligned with requirements from our global CI-function
    • Applying your experience and insight and engage with stakeholders in defining the future strategic direction and approach to implementation of value-oriented processes, systems and tools related to Lean
    • Developing the continuous improvement capabilities of our leaders and employees throughout the organization, through formal training and systematic assessment

    Your base will be at our manufacturing site in Bjæverskov, Denmark. As CI Lead, you should expect some traveling days visiting Cook Medical sites all over the world, to obtain and share knowledge across organizations.

    Qualifications

    You are an expert in continuous improvement with great interpersonal skills and experience in CI-system development and implementation.

     

    In this position, you will take the lead on developing and implementing the CI-system while developing mind-sets into working in new ways.

     

    This will further develop your ability to manage your stakeholders and at the same time be able to develop balanced solutions and introduce continuous improvement initiatives to the business, while ensuring quality and compliance. To facilitate this you are expected to have:

     

    • 5+ years of experience with Lean implementation or functional expertise from the Medical Device Industry, where you have had an active role working within the Lean business system
    • Hands on experience in driving projects with many stakeholders in a dynamic environment
    • Experience working with management to secure mandate and support for initiatives, ideally including experience as an internal or external consultant
    • Experience driving strategic projects and applying change and stakeholder management techniques
    • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Supply Chain Logistics or related discipline from an accredited university
    • Excellent communication skills and speak and write English fluently
