  • Overview

    Working as part of the EMEA Corporate Communication and Brand team, this role will create and maintain attention-getting, user-friendly content which embraces the Cook tone and voice. Communicating to both internal and external audiences with content that informs, inspires and engages, this role will collaborate closely with teams in the US and APAC.

    • Write and revise content for marketing and communications materials across a range of topics and mediums.
    • Research and create new and updated written website content that is relevant to customers; supports Cook’s marketing objectives, brand, culture, values and policies; and apply current SEO best practices.
    • Collaborate with web developers, global written and digital brand manager, web marketing manager, digital marketing analyst, email marketing manager, and division marketing teams on interactive projects: from initial concepts to developing content plans and wireframes and user testing.
    • Be a key part of the Brand development team; add value by articulating the voice of the Cook brand in EMEA.
    • Collaborate and brainstorm with team: designers, writers, managers.
    • Help internal customers identify the goal of communication and key points in order to write concise copy consistent with the brand voice.
    • Research topics in order to communicate information clearly to audiences with various levels of knowledge.
    • Proactively seek out subject matter experts and information to improve the quality of the material.
    • Work closely with other content creators in the corporate branding team to ensure brand alignment across mediums/channels, connect projects and re-purpose content.
    • Maintain a good understanding of company stakeholders and company goals and objectives in order to align projects and priorities.
    • Use Cook voice and tone, follow Cook copy style guide and ensure error-free content.
    • Manage deadlines and priorities for multiple project simultaneously.
    • Use designated project management tools to document versions, progress and approval of projects.
    • Serve on teams assigned to communications projects, filling supporter or driver role as needed.
    • Ensure that Cook’s Code of Conduct is considered in all business matters carried out on Cook’s behalf.
    • Other responsibilities as assigned.


    • Degree in Marketing, Journalism, Communications, or a writing-related field desired.
    • A number of years’ professional writing experience with exposure to marketing, website writing and brand work required.
    • Understanding of strategic marketing and how websites, email marketing and social media work together.
    • Strong editing, writing, and grammatical skills, with attention to detail.
    • Familiarity with standard Microsoft Office tools and WordPress.
    • Ability to translate complex ideas into clear, concise copy using the language of the audience.
    • Ability to handle competing and tight deadlines using great organizational skills.
    • Possess a collaborative nature and be able to communicate with colleagues across many departments and levels within the company.
    • Willingness & availability to travel on company business as required.
