  • Overview

    To develop a market specific strategy for increasing sales of the Reproductive Health product lines specifically the Maternal Foetal medicine products and collaborate with the [Global] Product Manager(s) to coordinate EMEA-specific efforts with the global strategy. To liaise with key personnel at Cook Ireland and EUDC to support regional product initiatives.

    Responsibilities

    • Actively manage EMEA downstream activities for Maternal Foetal Medicine product line:
    • Work with Global Product Managers to coordinate all sales, marketing and training activities with global initiatives
    • Monitor clinical publications, collect and work with training team to educate field staff
    • Visit Subject Matter Experts and other clinical users within EMEA to stay up-to-date with clinical use patterns and trends
    • Analyse market trends and collect relevant data to provide direction to the development of marketing strategy and positioning of key products and product groups
    • Actively assist in implementing marketing plans
    • Carry out specific market and competitor analysis, as required
    • Answer product related questions and queries from employees and physicians
    • Investigate product complaints with relevant personnel
    • Work proactively with the sales and distribution teams in Europe, Middle East and Africa.
    • Support regional Product Management requirements at Cook Ireland:
    • Work with Supply Chain and Global Product Managers to coordinate stock levels
    • Communicate with regional sales management regarding field actions, delayed shipments and other relevant product information that will impact customers
    • Coordinate with regional marketing, sales and training managers to develop product strategies for EMEA
    • Act as a backup to support EMEA capital equipment servicing efforts.
    • Maintain active relationships with key Cook Ireland and Cook Medical Europe personnel.
    • Understand and follow company quality policies and procedures with respect to Complaint Handling, Product Returns, Samples, Consignment Stock and any other areas as appropriate.
    • Act as designee for the Director of Global Product Management.
    • Ensure that Cook’s Code of Conduct is considered in all business matters carried out on Cook’s behalf.

    Qualifications

    • Third Level qualification in a related field desired.
    • A number of years’ experience in product management, sales or marketing with a medical device product line preferred.
    • Previous clinical experience in the area of obstetrics and/or maternal foetal medicine desired.
    • Excellent organisational and problem solving skills and the ability to work to deadlines.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Computer skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office.
    • Demonstrated aptitude for organising and interpreting data.
    • High self-motivation.
    • Willingness and availability to travel on company business.
