  • Overview

    The primary function of this role is to work collaboratively with the DCM Management team and global Project Managers within the function, to drive successful execution of DCM projects globally and locally, interacting with the global business and IT teams to ensure alignment where required.

    • Work collaboratively with project managers and/or relevant business process owners to assist in the accurate evaluation and definition of project requirements, as appropriate depending on the project in question.
    • Lead project related process mapping with key project stakeholders, locally and globally as defined by the project scope.
    • Establish process versus systems gaps, leading to a “to be” business process mapping effort.
    • Analyse process mapping output and compile the identified business requirements.
    • Provide visual representations of conceptual solutions on all projects as required.
    • Work collaboratively with relevant projec`t manager and/or other relevant parties to implement appropriate software validation steps and documentation, using appropriate and accepted tools.
    • Connect cross functionally where DCM system changes impact partner functions.
    • Organise and/or participate in relevant project meetings as necessary/appropriate.
    • Develop system procedures for the operation of new systems, implemented as the result of a specific project.
    • Review enhancements and projects after implementation to ensure effectiveness and compliance to specifications.
    • Troubleshoot day to day systems issues with IT and Management as necessary.
    • Progress and close out globally approved local Change Requests (CRs), Software Validations and system related service logs with IT.
    • Ensure that the COOK® brand and image is communicated in a positive and consistent manner to all customers, both external and internal. 
    • Ensure that all duties are carried out in compliance with the company’s Quality Management System.
    • Ensure that Cook’s Code of Conduct is considered in all business matters carried out on Cook’s behalf.



    • Min 3 years industry experience in a similar role required, preferably within medical device / high-tech industry.
    • IT or Project Management qualification preferred.
    • Proven involvement at least one successful ERP system implementation.
    • Demonstrable project management experience with the ability to identify and implement improvement opportunities using process mapping and structured project management techniques.
    • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with proven experience of interacting productively with individuals at all organisational levels.
    • Strong business systems knowledge with proven experience of working closely with IT as required.
    • Willingness and availability to travel on company business.
