Overview

The EMEA Corporate Communications Project Manager coordinates and drives corporate communications and corporate brand projects. This role will support the EMEA corporate team, based in Limerick, across key areas of the function including corporate events, internal communications and external communications. This role balances project management, influencing key stakeholders and creativity to deliver high profile projects on time and on brief.

Responsibilities

  • Work within the EMEA corporate team on a cross functional level to support and drive key projects and initiatives with a focus on a significant corporate event in May 2018.
  • Drive corporate projects end to end ensuring they are delivered on time and deliver the project objectives.
  • Balance the creative requirements of the role with project delivery, in a pragmatic manner.
  • Work in a collaborative approach with the teams in Limerick, EMEA, APAC and the U.S. to ensure all project stakeholders’ needs are defined and considered.
  • Communicate with and influence senior project stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met.
  • Assist the EMEA team in the creation of content for our communication channels (both external and internal).
  • Assist in the monitoring and evaluation of social media activity.
  • Initiate, manage, track and close projects on the internal systems.
  • Follow internal approval procedures and materials retention policy.
  • Must maintain company quality standards & follow ethics and compliance guidelines in carrying out the role.
  • Willingness & availability to travel on company business.
  • Ensure that Cook’s Code of Conduct is considered in all business matters carried out on Cook’s behalf.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Studies or related field desired.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role, with experience in event management preferred.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Experience in digital marketing and/or PR would be an asset.
  • Excellent communication and inter-personal skills.
  • Strong written communications skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Experience in a medical technology multi-national would be advantageous.
  • Proficient in use of Microsoft® Office and presentation software.
