The Business Intelligence and Reporting Analyst will serve as the front-line resource in managing reporting requests and requirements for the Cook reporting team. The Business Intelligence and Reporting Analyst will interact regularly with internal business customers to capture and understand reporting and data service requests, they will help define and clarify requirements, propose, define, and develop appropriate solutions, and provide feedback to the reporting team. They will perform quality review of developed solutions and ensure proper user acceptance.
Reporting to: Business Reporting and Analysis Manager
o Understand business challenges and propose technical solutions that can help
o Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues and perform root cause analysis
o Assist in prioritization of reporting and data requests
o Help create and promote an environment of self-service capabilities
o Ensuring a globally consistent approach to reporting at all times.
o Coordinate end user review and acceptance of the developed solutions
o Provide User and Report Writer training to other employees.
o Ensure proper documentation for our processes.
o Developing and maintaining Core Reports for an allocated ‘Position.’
o Continuous learning in the areas of Business Intelligence report writing and related infrastructure.
o Ad hoc support in relevant business area
o Liaising with IT and other members of the reporting team, to help create efficient reporting systems, including data validation, documentation and investigation of technical issues.
o Manage Business Intelligence projects; which include project scoping, follow up, making sure milestones are met, testing and rollout plans.
