Overview

The primary purpose of this position is to provide expert advice, training and support especially to key physicians utilizing Cooks advanced product lines.

Responsibilities

  • Develop an expert knowledge of the product portfolio and other possible devices related to them.
  • Responsible for providing the physician with:
    • Case planning
    • Case support during procedure
  • Partner with Sales Leadership to align clinical training initiatives with commercial priorities, product positioning, and market expansion goals.
  • Provide technical product training related to advanced procedures to both clinical customers and team on the use of Cook’s medical devices as required
  • Regular contact with the planning center
  • Assure that all new or updated product information is distributed to and understood by the customers and team
  • Participation at relevant local and international exhibitions, meetings and lectures forwarding relevant information to divisional team
  • Translate clinical insights into sales strategies, helping the sales team understand clinical value propositions, competitive differentiators, and customer pain points.
  • Collaborate with regional sales and programs to support advanced technology initiatives and introductions, provide field and market analysis and assist in identifying trends and clinical needs.
  • Provide written reports to the Regional Business Manager as appropriate

 

Leadership:

  • Provide ongoing leadership, training and assessment for the Customized Solutions Specialists
  • Maintain our culture, values and commitment to Ethics and Compliance by recognizing, demonstrating, and enforcing appropriate and compliant behavior.
  • Within scope of responsibility, ensure all quality, regulatory, and product-specific requirements are met.
  • Understand and be accountable for conducting Cook business with integrity and in compliance with applicable standards including Cook policies.
  • Secure the Cook culture and comply with company guidelines & policies

 

Collaboration:

  • Develop and maintain active relationships with key accounts and key regional physicians.
  • Work closely and effectively with the other members of the sales team and with Cook support functions in order to provide the best possible service to the customer and the patient.

Qualifications

  • University degree and 5 years’ relevant experience
  • Relevant experience in clinical support preferred
  • Knowledge of relevant clinical procedures preferred
  • Prior people management experience preferred
  • Ability to interpret clinical data
  • Very good communication and inter-personal skills
  • High level of self-motivation
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft® Office
  • Language Skills – good written and verbal command of English and other relevant languages
  • Proven problem-solving skills
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Excellent Networking skills
  • Excellent numeric skills
  • Demonstrated fluency in both written and spoken English, and in other local language(s) as applicable
  • This role requires fluency in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and data concepts, including the ability to critically evaluate AI outputs, improve workflows using approved tools, identify and mitigate bias or inaccuracies, and communicate AI-driven insights clearly and responsibly to peers and managers.
