The Country Business Manager is responsible for the Vascular division’s business in the country. This includes business planning as well as execution. The Country Business Manager will be responsible for making sure that the vascular organization in the country is delivering the sales results as well as productivity needed to be successful.
The main responsibilities will encompass, but will not be limited to:
Manage the business:
1. Create Business Plan:
Meetings and congresses
Advertising
Physician training
Local advocacy
Other promotional activities
2. Defining Objectives for sales force: ensure that clear objectives for Sales performance, Service, Productivity and Cost exist for the Country
3. Organizational Structure
4. Generally responsible for business KPIs, customer satisfaction and patient outcomes, as well as P&L, with emphasis on sales, expenses, margin and direct contribution income of the assigned geography.
5. Lead the creation of a sales forecast for the country. Adjust and follow up throughout the period.
6. Establish and maintain a management structure and defined KPIs that ensures a solid follow up on the business plan, identifies gaps and corrective actions. To include: Finance, Sales, People, Reporting to European leadership team, Bonus program.
Creating customer relations plan:
1. Assume full responsibility leading all business relationships between the company and its customers
2. Identify Key relationships
3. Assure that relationships with key partners in the country, including customers, meeting organizers or other influencers and organizations are maintained and developed
4. Assure involvement from appropriate groups within the organization
Securing Employee Development and Organizational Culture:
1. Provide ongoing coaching, mentoring, and feedback both formally through the performance management process and informally through daily discussions and interactions, while recognizing employees for their contributions.
2. Ensure that roles and responsibilities, performance expectations, and training requirements are developed and clearly documented and communicated to each employee. Cultivate a safe, secure, and supportive environment where employees can thrive and morale is maintained.
3. Responsible for performance and wage reviews for team members.
4. Identify and develop current and future leadership.
5. Maintain our culture, values and commitment to Ethics and Compliance by recognizing, demonstrating, and enforcing appropriate and compliant behaviour.
6. Within scope of responsibility, ensure all quality, regulatory, and product-specific requirements are met.
7. Understand and be accountable for conducting Cook business with integrity and in compliance with applicable standards including Cook policies.
Collaboration:
1. Ensure Vascular division’s collaboration with corporate functions and operational units, including Customer Support and Delivery, Reimbursement, other divisions and others necessary to support the business
2. Work closely with the Divisional leadership group and participate in regular meetings to align the Vascular strategy for the region.
