Are you a clinically experienced medical professional passionate about making a global impact? As a Medical Director at Cook Medical, you will apply your clinical expertise across business functions, supporting innovative medical device development and making a difference for patients worldwide. 

Responsibilities

Your Role 

As Medical Director, you will use your clinical expertise to support Cook Medical’s product development, regulatory submissions, training, and commercial activities across business units. 

 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Build and maintain deep clinical knowledge relevant to our products and procedures. 
  • Monitor clinical trends and develop relationships with key clinicians. 
  • Provide clinical review for documents and collaborate with internal teams such as Regulatory Affairs, R&D, and Marketing. 
  • Mentor Associate Medical Directors and guide Medical Affairs projects. 
  • Work proactively, uphold quality and safety standards, and contribute effectively to company goals. 

Qualifications

We are looking for candidates who possess: 

  • An MD with completed postgraduate training in a recognized specialty. 
  • At least 2 years of full-time clinical practice with direct patient care and preferred experience in vascular surgery and/or EVAR procedures. 
  • Preferably 2-3 years of relevant industry experience. 
  • Excellent teamwork skills. 
  • Appropriate clinical knowledge and experience, including exposure to medical and surgical procedures and the use of medical devices in a clinical setting. 
  • Capable technical writing skills. 
  • Strong analytical skills. 
  • Interest in and aptitude for literature- and web-based research. 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook). 
  • Proficient Danish and English skills (reading, writing, and speaking).
