Your Role in Shaping the Future

As Medical Advisor, you will play a critical role in our team, collaborating with experts from a range of business units. Your clinical perspective will be essential to guiding clinical aspects of regulatory submissions and documentation, risk management, marketing, and product development. Furthermore, you will be our medical expertise for internal medical training and responsible for safety assessments related to products on the market.

Responsibilities

  • Provides clinical review of Cook documents that will be seen by internal and/or external customers.
  • Provides clinical and medical experience to support Regulatory Affairs, Reimbursement, Commercial, Research and Development, Marketing, Quality Assurance, Engineering, and other internal groups.
  • For their assigned therapeutic areas, the Medical Director has a clinical understanding of the risks, benefits, patient selection, and treatment options and is responsible for being aware of scientific and clinical trends within their area.
  • Champion quality and safety, proactively upholding Cook Medical’s reputation for excellence while helping us achieve company targets.

Qualifications

  • You are an MD or equivalent.
  • You have a minimum of 2 years’ full-time clinical practice with direct patient care (board certification not required).
  • You ideally bring relevant industry experience, equipping you to bridge clinical care and commercial innovation.
  • Your exceptional teamwork and communication abilities shine through in all you do.
  • You possess hands-on knowledge of medical and surgical procedures and are familiar with the use of medical devices in clinical settings.
  • Technical writing comes naturally to you, allowing you to clearly convey complex information.
  • Your strong analytical skills help you solve problems creatively and efficiently.
  • You have a genuine interest in, and flair for, conducting literature and web-based research.
  • You are comfortable using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) in your daily work.
  • You are fluent in both Danish and English (reading, writing, and speaking), enabling you to thrive in our international environment.
