We are currently looking for an engineer to be part of our CAPA Engineering team in the Post Market Engineering department. In our team, you will be able to work independently and at the same time be part of a strong professional collaboration, where you help to ensure compliance and continued growth of the device portfolio.

 

You will be part of our CAPA Engineering team at William Cook Europe. We are responsible for ensuring timely and successful handling of Non-conformance reports, as well as CAPA solving from an engineering perspective. These tasks are solved through collaboration with internal and external stakeholders as well as the QA department. Furthermore, you will take part in handling of local issues in the manufacturing in close collaboration with other departments at WCE. Your daily work is not confined to desktop work alone. As a CAPA engineer at Cook, we are taking active part in solving the challenges, so part of our day can take place in the R&D lab, the Production, the Incoming QC etc. Furthermore, Cook offers great work flexibility and possibility of home office equipment for off-site working days.

Responsibilities

On the daily basis, you will be working in the CAPA Engineering team together with 2 experienced CAPA Engineers. The CAPA Engineers work in close collaboration with the Supplier Engineers, Biocompatibility Specialists, and the Material Engineers which are part of the same team in Post Market Engineering (PME). We are a team with different backgrounds, such as chemical engineers, pharmacists, and biologists, working together on projects with focus on knowledge sharing in an informal atmosphere.

 

You will collaborate with other departments at WCE, including Procurement, Supplier Quality, and Product Sustaining.

 

Together with the team, you handle ongoing NCRs and CAPAs related to products and raw materials and lead the projects through in a timely manner. In addition, the CAPA work may result in design changes to the existing devices, which you will be responsible for in collaboration with the team members of PME.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will be expected to have an interest and flair in communicating and cooperating with colleagues all around Cook, and a genuine interest in medical devices.

  • You have a relevant background in engineering, natural science or health science field - e.g., as an engineer, chemical engineer, biochemist, mathematician, physicist or similar.
  • Perhaps you have experience from a similar role, where you have worked with engineering or CAPA solving in the MedTech industry or similar.
  • You are systematic in your work approach and familiar with document management.
  • You have strong analytical and investigational skills and see yourself as a Troubleshooter/Hands-on problem solver.
  • You have good communication skills verbally and in writing in Danish and English.
  • Organized, systematic and structured · Willingness to learn new skills.
