We are currently looking for an experienced engineer to be part of the global supplier engineering team as well as a supplier engineer with more focus on local supplier engineering issues.

 

Both positions will be anchored in the Post Market Supplier Engineering team in Bjæverskov. You will be able to work independently and at the same time be part of a strong professional collaboration, where you help to ensure compliance and continued growth of the device portfolio.

Responsibilities

On the daily basis, you will be working in the Post Market Supplier Engineering team together with 2 experienced Supplier Engineers. The Supplier Engineers work in close collaboration with the Biocompatibility Specialists, the Material- and CAPA Engineers which are part of the same team in Post Market Engineering. We are a team with different backgrounds, such as chemical engineers, pharmacists and biologists, working together on projects with focus on knowledge sharing in an informal atmosphere.

 

You will collaborate with other departments at WCE, including Procurement, Supplier Quality, and Product Sustaining. For both roles, the global supplier engineer in particular, there will be global collaboration with other Cook sites around the specific projects.

 

Together with the team, you handle ongoing changes on raw materials and lead the projects through in a timely manner. Whether the change concerns a change of supplier, production site, or changes in the raw material or manufacturing method, you and the team ensure that the product is in continuous compliance.

 

Global Supplier Engineer

You will be part of the global Supplier Engineering team at Cook Medical. The global Supplier Engineering team are responsible for successful implementation of optimization projects for Cook Medical devices as well as handling of global supplier changes. The position will be embedded in the local Supplier Engineering team and ensure alignment of activities at entity as well as global level.

 

Supplier Engineer

You will be part of our Post Market Supplier Engineering team at William Cook Europe in Bjæverskov. We are responsible for ensuring timely and successful implementation of supplier initiated raw material changes for WCE devices through collaboration with internal stakeholders as well as our suppliers. In this way ensures continuous high-quality devices that help patients with vascular diseases worldwide. Furthermore, you will handle raw material issues in the production in close collaboration with internal stakeholders as well as our suppliers.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will be expected to have an interest and flair in communicating and cooperating with colleagues all around Cook, and a genuine interest in Supplier Management of medical devices. In addition you may recognize yourself in this:

  • You have a relevant background in engineering, natural science or health science field - e.g., as an engineer, chemical engineer, biochemist, mathematician, physicist or similar.
  • For the global role, you have experience from a similar role, where you have worked with supplier engineering and raw materials of e.g. medical devices.
  • You are systematic in your work approach and familiar with document management.
  • You have strong analytical and investigational skills and see yourself as a Troubleshooter / Hands-on problem solver.
  • Thrives on the documentation side of engineering work.
  • Positive, listening, decision-ready, engaged/involving, appreciative, informative.
  • Good communication skills verbally and in writing in Danish and English.
  • Organized, systematic and structured Willingness to learn new skills.
